Amy Nelson

Having been immersed in the recruitment industry for over 10 years, I’ve worked alongside some of the most high-profile businesses across the UK, highlighting my natural flair for the subject and providing the highest calibre of bespoke service for clients and candidates alike.
From working with a large national firm to offer a comprehensive 360 account management service, to a contract managerial position in the food production sector, I am accustomed to working closely with clients, meeting and exceeding their expectations on a daily basis, and being responsible for large volumes of staff, allowing for a holistic approach to the recruitment process.
Since joining the team at Nelson Recruitment Services (NRS) in 2014, crafting mutually beneficial relationships with clients and candidates has not only allowed me to experience both personal and professional development, but I’m now also a part of the wider management team, working on business strategy, compliance, finance, marketing and social media.
With an optimistic attitude and unwavering work ethic, partnered with an ethos of honesty, respect and integrity that is paramount at NRS, I’m a key part of a team that holds the same passion and drive to bring change to the recruitment industry as a whole.
Reiss Johnson
Group Operations Director
Following a career in business and sales, Reiss joined the Nelson Group in 2017 utilising his specialist skills in permanent placement to aid the success and growth of the business. With his shared passion and vision for the industry with our Founder Paul Nelson, Reiss went on to become Director of Nelson Permanent Placements.
Offering a high level of quality and delivery of service to the clients in the white-collar division Reiss quickly established NPP as a market leader for permeant staffing solutions in the UK. This quickly led on to expanding NPP with NPP Trades and Labour. NPP Trades and Labour Offers Clients both Temporary and permanent staffing in a wide range of specialist sectors.
In 2020 following his success of the NPP Brand Reiss became group director of the Nelson Group and now over see’s the success, growth and management of both Nelson Recruitment Services and Nelson Permanent Placements.
Paul Nelson
NRS Founder
When Nelson Recruitment Services was founded in 2013, Paul built it on a foundation of honesty, respect and integrity; three key values that he held closely when working shoulder to shoulder with esteemed clients.
After 15 informative years honing his skills in the world of recruitment, he decided to take the leap into self employment; drawing on his knowledge of the market and passion for professionalism and proficiency, launching Nelson Recruitment Services (NRS) in 2013.
In simple terms, NRS was built on a desire for change. From hearing first hand of the poor service and experience his clients had received in the past from other competing recruitment agencies, his aim was, and still is, to be different - offering a service that is second to none and competitive too.
Since the launch of NRS back in 2013, his business portfolio grew from strength to strength, with Nelson Group Holdings now being responsible for three leading recruitment businesses that service leading brands across the Midlands and more recently, nationwide.
With a reputation for excellence, NRS and its sister brands not only care to provide the highest quality service for new and existing clients across a multitude of sectors, but, as an strong advocate of professional development, Paul also make it a priority to invest in his team, providing ongoing recruitment training and support from day one.
Sadly, in August 2021, Paul passed away. Paul always had a strong desire to change the face of mental health, particularly for men, but after his own mental health struggles, died by suicide. Following Paul’s death, Amy, and more recently Reiss, have carried on the legacy left by Paul and continue to grow the Nelson Group Holding’s brands to honour Paul’s memory.
Paul is, and always will be, missed by all the of Nelson Group Holding’s team and we will continue to make him proud.
