After 15 informative years honing my skills in the world of recruitment, I decided to take the leap into self employment; drawing on my knowledge of the market and passion for professionalism and proficiency, launching Nelson Recruitment Services (NRS) in 2013.
In simple terms, NRS was built on a desire for change. From hearing first hand of the poor service and experience my clients had received in the past from other competing recruitment agencies, my aim was, and still is, to be different - offering a service that is second to none and competitive too.
Since the launch of NRS back in 2013, my business portfolio has grown from strength to strength, with Nelson Group Holdings now being responsible for five leading recruitment businesses that service leading brands across the Midlands.
With a reputation for excellence, NRS and its sister brands not only care to provide the highest quality service for new and existing clients across the industrial, driving and engineering sectors, but, as an strong advocate of professional development, I also make it a priority to invest in my team, providing ongoing recruitment training and support from day one.
Being a huge part of my philosophy as a business leader and professional, I also support prospective business propositions via a Partnered Venture’s program, providing endless opportunities, guidance and imparting my knowledge to the entrepreneurs of tomorrow.
Having been immersed in the recruitment industry for over 10 years, I’ve worked alongside some of the most high-profile businesses across the UK, highlighting my natural flair for the subject and providing the highest calibre of bespoke service for clients and candidates alike.
From working with a large national firm to offer a comprehensive 360 account management service, to a contract managerial position in the food production sector, I am accustomed to working closely with clients, meeting and exceeding their expectations on a daily basis, and being responsible for large volumes of staff, allowing for a holistic approach to the recruitment process.
Since joining the team at Nelson Recruitment Services (NRS) in 2014, crafting mutually beneficial relationships with clients and candidates has not only allowed me to experience both personal and professional development, but I’m now also a part of the wider management team, working on business strategy, compliance, finance, marketing and social media.
